A Brief History

St. Christopher’s Episcopal Day School was established in 1956 as a mother’s day out program. Now in its 62nd year, the school provides educational programming in a Christian environment for infants through Prekindergarten and a supportive Christian environment for after school care for local Prekindergarten through 5th graders.

St. Christopher’s Episcopal Day School has a current school year enrollment of approximately 110 students’ ages 6 weeks to 5th grade in a variety of care settings. The school hosts a diverse population.

Currently, 16 full time teachers and assistants are employed by St. Christopher’s Episcopal Day School, with additional part-time staff support. The Parish Administrator provides support to the school by managing the school’s financial resources.

We offer our community an opportunity to become acquainted with the Episcopal Church, and act as an alternative to other private facilities, which operate for profit and at the same time we provide quality programs for children.
